The skin around my eyes has always been my problem area, it’s always darker than it should be and tends to get dry in a blink. If you’re anything like me, dabbing on an eye cream morning and night doesn’t quite cut it. I have tried a few products to inject some hydration back into my eyes which surprisingly have made a difference. Although perhaps useless to some, eye masks have become a staple in my weekly beauty routine.
This is the most fuss-free mask that I’ve ever used. This travels with me and is perfect for using in-flight as it’s completely clear and will leave you looking rested even if you’ve been knocking back glasses of red wine re-reading 50 Shades of Grey. This mask is probably my favourite under-eye treatment due to its ability to leave my skin completely smooth, banishing all signs of fatigue. Unbelievably, this also had the power to plump up my sallow looking skin which left me looking refreshed and dare I say it even youthful.
Whilst these may not be the best thing to have on your eyes in front of your boyfriend or family without them thinking Halloween has come early they are more than effective. Containing a combination of ‘dragons blood’ (sap from the Crton Lechleri tree) and hyaluronic acid these nifty patches instantly brighten, hydrate and plump tired eyes. Perfect for prepping skin for a holiday party (makeup glides on after use), these come in sleek, nifty packages which makes them perfect for travel.
Much like Rodial’s eye masks, this is designed to brighten, plump and refresh the under-eye area. I love putting these particular ones in the fridge for an extra cooling effect and leaving them on for longer than recommended whilst watching car-crash TV.
